 Aramits is a
little bearnais village situated in the valley of Baretous, in the foothills
of the Pyrenees, between Lourdes and Biarritz.
"L'Olivé de Haut" is located at 1.200 metres from the centre of the village and 380 metres above the sea level. This farming Estate was founded in 1802 by a family of wood-cutters, the Labaigs. It extends today over 2 hectares or 5 acres half lawn half wood which gives to the Site its exceptional character of calm and tranquility. It consists now of four main buildings made out of french stone, in the purest bearnais style . The whole construction is in excellent state and was the subject of several successive restorations, the last going back to 1999.

by the current owners, Henri et Nicole, of Belgian origin. |

The unique charm of these rooms and the domaine are due to the harmony of the place, the beauty of the surrounding countryside, the absolute calm that is present in every way, the authenticity of the locality, of the village, and the whole valley. In winter the skiing resorts of ISSARBE and the PIERRE-SAINT-MARTIN are at half an hour's drive. |
